Travis is an exceptional coach with an eye for detail. I have worked with him for several years now and am always impressed by his ability to deliver information in a way that is digestible across all age groups. He has extensive experience coaching all age groups both in the gym, as well as competitions, and can always be found with a smile on his face when he’s sharing his knowledge.
I’ve had the honor of training with Travis Hill for well over a decade, and in that time, he’s become not just a coach but a close friend to me and my family. His deep love for martial arts is matched only by his unwavering dedication to his students—especially the kids. Travis leads with integrity, humility, and passion, creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, challenged, and supported. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or you’re a seasoned competitor, Agogee BJJ offers high-level instruction in a fun, family-friendly, and safe atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to grow—not just as a martial artist, but as a person—there’s no better place to train than with Travis and the Apogee team.
I can’t say enough about Coach Travis. He has a gift for building community and making you feel like you’re part of the family. When it comes to jiujitsu and martial arts he has a patient, technical teaching style that is easy to understand and apply. I’ve modeled a lot of my attitude and how I approach jiujitsu around what I have learned from coach Travis.
I’ve had the opportunity to train with Jackie over the past few years; her strength, discipline, determination, and commitment to the sport is incredible. Whether drilling or rolling live, Jackie always works hard to perfect her technique and help others improve. She has the ability to elevate the energy in the room and is a great teammate.
